CD- OVERCOMING FEAR ON THE STAGE
I have created this material because every performer or
musician is asked by a coach or teacher to practice hard
everyday,in order to do things better, and therefore, to get
ready in the future to perform at gigs, festivals, contests, etc.
Many people believe that spending many hours fixing the
technical problems would be enough to make us perform
better. Nerves could destroy everything you did nicely
during practice.
We all know that we have to practice with devotion in order
to get better at everything we do in life and polish up our
talents, that is whether you are a dancer, a magician or a
singer, even a public speaker.
In that I do believe. But all the practice of the world would not
guarantee that you are going to be successful on the stage
if you don't have an idea of how to get control of your
actions and the things you want to do on the stage.
When we are practicing at home, in a private room, or in a
classroom or studio, where nobody or not many people are
paying attention to what we are doing ,in our comfort zone,
we feel so relaxed, and chances are we will not make so
many mistakes. But it is only when we change the
circumstances and scenarios that we start to doubt
ourselves,(and I mean when you have more people in front
of you) we don't count on our own capabilities anymore.
Everything is different when we have to leave that comfort
zone.
That is when we freeze and let our minds to be invaded by
negative thoughts .We tend to forget the most important
details that make us play or act better. That happens when
we go on the Stage, in front of a big audience, when we
have to be the center of attention.
Let's say....It would be like when we learn how to drive the
1st car in our lives. We are taken to practice on safe roads
and streets or gravel roads, by mom or dad, far away from
danger, where you know you might or might not do it right,
where there is not another car you might hit. You might do
things right or wrong...but we say "oh well"...tomorrow you
can practice again, without having to worry about being
cautious of others, and the more you practice the better
you get...right?We all say that.
Now, When you drive on the real road or highway for the 1st
time you are afraid of what you have around you, even
afraid of controlling your car. Afraid of oncoming
traffic, doubtful about whether your car is in the center of
your lane or a little bit off, etc .Same thing happens when we
go on the stage.
That is what you will hear about in this Cd
Those insecurities can be cured.I promise you.
This Cd will help you to get the tips you need to be in
control when you have to perform all the time.
